Ozone is a Radical Gas O3 that is formed naturally during thunderstorm when the High electrical charges induce the 02 in the Atmosphere to form Strong reactive ozone O3 .

Ozone is professionally used in many application including fish farming , hatchery and marine aquarium for the Sterilization , Oxygenation , Disease control and Purification of Aquarium water . As Ozone comes in to contact with water it disintegrate and burn away pollutions , burn and kill  bacteria , protozoan , algae , virus and germs thus controlling disease and improving water clarity , the O3 also breakdown as it contact water increasing the oxygen content and stocking capacity .

Ozone Production is via a high voltage charge on the passing air stream . The production of ozone is highly dependant on the dryness of the air , the dryer the air the higher the ozone production . It is mandatory to install a Dryer  to dry the entry air , because wet air will corrode the electrode and cause premature failure of  the Ozoniser.
